Santa Ric has been active in holiday happenings in the Richmond area since an early age. First donning the “Red Suit” for his fourth grade Christmas show, where he was serenaded to the tune “We’d Do Anything for You” from the musical Oliver, to his stint as the Program Director for The Salvation Army/NBC 12 Angel Tree, Santa Ric is an accomplished public speaker, event planner, activist for needy children and visitor to all good boys and girls during the holiday season.
A real-bearded Santa with a special “look” that captures the tradition of a true southern Christmas, Santa Ric has been entertaining the young and young-at-heart with his yearly visits since the early 1980’s. Whether appearing at a University of Richmond basketball game, helping Nutzy the Squirrel collect toys for Toys for Tots, welcoming home our troops returning on the Eisenhower or visiting your family to read “T’was the Night Before Christmas”, Santa Ric makes each visit memorably magical.
